The Complete Destination Platform
Unifrog is an award-winning online careers platform. Students, together with their parents and carers have access to this platform from Years 7–13. The website is designed to support students in making the most informed decisions about their futures and has a range of tools that are suitable for all year groups. Each student has their own personal account that provides a wide range of information related to their interests and aspirations. Key features of the platform include:
-
Exploring Pathways – personality quizzes, career and subject profiles, MOOCs and webinars
-
Recording – self-reflection about extracurricular activities and key employability skills
-
Opportunities – search tools showing live vacancies/courses/placements for apprenticeships, universities (in the UK and abroad), FE, virtual work experience and much more
-
Applications – tools to help students build applications for a range of pathways (e.g., CVs, Personal Statements, Common App Essays)
Interactions with employers/ FE/ HE and apprenticeship providers will be logged onto the student’s profiles for both students to view. This will include things such as employer encounters, career guidance interview notes, and skills workshop attendance.
At present, Year 8 to Year 13 have access with the view to introduce this out to Year 7 by the end of the first term. Students will use Unifrog during their PD lessons, tutor time and drop-down days, where each year group will complete different careers activities. Students can also use unifrog at home and on the go as the platform can be accessed on smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
With an access code parents/carers can also have access to the platform which will give you change to view unifrog as if you were a student, this will allow you to support your child throughout their careers journey here at Stanground.
