GCSE Results - Thursday 25 August 2022
We are so very proud of all our Year 11 Students and their excellent GCSE Results!
We are pleased to announce a year of brilliant results for pupils, despite the challenges of the pandemic. The whole Academy community is incredibly proud of its pupils and many are now looking forward to progressing onto their A Levels at the Academy!
While all pupils have done well, there have been some impressive individual performances. These include:
- Noah successfully achieved 10 GCSE qualifications, all at Grade 9 and a further 2 BTEC qualifications at distinction or distinction star level. A truly incredible result.
- Alexandersuccessfully achieved 10 GCSE qualifications all at grade 9 and a BTEC awarded at distinction*.
- Khrisha successfully achieved 9 GCSE qualifications at grade 9, 1 at grade 8 and a BTEC qualification at distinction*.
- Callum successfully achieved 6 GCSE qualifications at grade 9, two BTEC qualifications at distinction* and a further 2 GCSE qualifications at grade 8 and 6.
- Anisha achieved 11 GCSE qualifications of which 6 were at grade 9 and her lowest grade was a grade 7.
- Remy achieved 5 GCSE qualifications at grade 9 and two further BTEC qualifications at distinction*.
- Chimwemwe achieved 10 level 2 qualifications and made more progress than any other student in her cohort - a huge success!
All students should be so proud of how hard they’ve worked, and the unprecedented resilience they have shown, whatever their result.
NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough have been working with Local Authority Public Health Colleagues to put together a social media toolkit and printable flyer. The printable flyer is going to be shared across schools in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to be handed out to students receiving their results. The flyer is to remind students to be proud of the work they have put in over the past two years – whatever the results. It also includes a simple message that if the result is not what they were expecting, there are people on hand to offer advice and guidance. The flyer also signposts to local and national help if they are anxious or struggling with their mental health.
