In order for staff to continue to assess how students are doing in their Post 16 studies and to help assess their ability for continuing the course, we have arranged a PPE fortnight for all academic subjects and some vocational subjects that are not being externally examined this summer. Lessons for all academic A-Level subjects, including study time will be suspended for these weeks and students are not expected to attend the Academy except for their examinations.

Students who study a vocational subject will have separate arrangements for attending lessons, as these subjects will have coursework to complete; lessons will therefore continue for most vocational subjects during this time. Students who study a combination of academic and vocational subjects must attend their exam and then go to lessons where it is appropriate.

Once an examination is finished students can go home. Should students wish to remain at the Academy, to revise for other examinations, there will be a space allocated to them. All students will be given an individual examination timetable and for your information there will be a copy of the full examination timetable placed on the website.
